The blind leading the blind. It’s at about this point that a hiker starts to question his motives for achieving the summit of a particular mountain. Why do we push ourselves through the elements, scale cliff sides, traverse glaciers, if not for the reward of the view from the top? None the less, lashed together like children at the fair we trudged on. United, for a common goal: Iceland’s tallest peak.
